Two good products. Only one of them is a product.
This is the fairest fight on our site. Bunny's network is superb and their delivery is the cheapest here — we are not going to pretend otherwise. The difference is what arrives when you sign up: Bunny hands you excellent parts and a bill that moves with every viewer. We hand you the assembled thing and a bill that does not.
What it actually costs, with your numbers.
A table cannot compare a flat plan to a meter, so here are both bills instead. Every Bunny rate below is theirs, published. Flip the protection switch to clear-key and you will find settings where they beat us — we left those in.

At these numbers Wolvy is $177 a month cheaper, with studio DRM as one of the zeroes instead of a $99 line — and four of those five lines stay at zero however the traffic moves.
Assumptions, stated openly. One hour of 1080p adaptive video ≈ 1.5 GB. DRM licences are counted at 2 per viewer — Bunny bills per device and per key, and their own docs work through a case reaching six licences for a single playback, so this is the conservative end. Bunny storage $0.01/GB/mo, delivery at their published regional rate, their $1 monthly minimum applied, and MediaCage Enterprise at $99/mo plus $0.005–$0.003 per licence when studio DRM is on. On clear-key, neither side meters licences and Wolvy is priced from its ClearKey line instead. Wolvy figures are yearly billing. This is an estimate to think with, not a quote from either company.
$0.005/GB is real. It just might not be your rate.
Both figures are honestly published on Bunny's own pricing page. We are pointing at them because "from $0.005/GB" is the number people repeat, and if you sell courses in Cairo it is not the number you pay.

MediaCage Enterprise covers FairPlay and Widevine; PlayReady is not in the documented set. Their docs also say activation “requires coordination with our sales team”.

Every Wolvy DRM plan starts at $41/month with Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay already on. MediaCage starts at $99/month before a single licence is billed.

Bunny documents FairPlay and Widevine. PlayReady is what Windows and Xbox use — without it, a slice of your audience falls back to weaker protection or nothing.

Their screen-grab prevention lives in the Enterprise DRM tier. Our App-Only Mode is on all three plans, including the $41 one, and it is an OS-level block — the capture comes out black.

A leak traces back to one account
Per-viewer forensic watermarking is in every Wolvy DRM plan. It is not part of the documented MediaCage feature set, so on Bunny a leaked file is anonymous.

Their docs say turning DRM on requires coordination with their sales team. Ours is a toggle on the video. Upload, switch it on, embed — and you still get pay-as-you-go if a plan is the wrong shape.

The cheapest delivery here
$0.005/GB on the volume network is a rate nobody on our comparison pages beats, and there is a $1 monthly minimum. If bandwidth is your dominant cost and you serve Europe or North America, that is very hard to argue with.
A whole infrastructure suite
DNS, edge scripting, object storage, image optimisation — Bunny is a platform for building things, and video is one part of it. We do protected video and nothing else. If you want one vendor for your whole stack, that is a real argument.
Genuinely good engineering
The network, the dashboard and the API are a pleasure to work with, and they publish their DRM pricing openly instead of hiding it behind a form. We wish more of this industry did.
